About Spherical Medical

Since its inception Spherical has grown into the premier provider of nursing home care in the Bay Area.

Dr. Emmons Collins founded Spherical Medical in 2011 to address the issue of medical follow up in the nursing home after discharge from the hospital. His decade of experience as a hospitalist made him realize that a new standard of care was possible in the skilled nursing setting.

Spherical Medical is continuing the mission and values of excellence in patient care under the guidance of the Chief Medical Director, Dr. Gurpreet Dhugga, MD,CMD.

We focus on:

We have partnered with multiple skilled nursing facilities, area hospitals and local Independent Physician Associations to achieve these aims.  Spherical accepts patients of all insurance types. We coordinate the work of the Spherical team with that of our partnered hospitals, skilled nursing facilities, medical specialists and primary care providers.
