Nicole Long is a Certified Family Nurse Practitioner who has been working in the sub-acute and convalescent since 2007. Prior to this, she worked in Women’s Health and Primary Care which gave her the experience of working with the many ‘ages and stages’ of life and death. Nicole obtained specialty training in the care of elders with Alzheimer’s disease and other major neurocognitive disorders. She has found that working with this population has become a source of much fulfillment. Her greatest joy comes from being the mother of three children, and in her spare time, she enjoys gardening, snowboarding and cooking. Her training was at University of California Los Angeles, San Jose State and San Francisco State.
